I was in the bank last week and overheard a woman in the drive-thru ask for a lollipop for her son. The teller explained that they were no longer allowed to give lollipops, due to the liability. Seriously? We’ve become so sue-happy that little kids can’t get lollipops at the bank? Ridiculous! Or are kids so lacking in common sense that they can’t operate a lollipop without injury? That’s almost as bad as the lady who sued for spilling hot coffee on herself from McDonald’s. Although if you’ve ever had coffee from McDonald’s, it is absudly hot – way hotter than anything you drink should ever be.
